Why You Should Consider Using a Computer User Lifestyle Coach

Getting and Using Information About Preventive Measures to Take as a Computer User is Not Easy
Computer use is virtually unavoidable in today's high tech world as we all go from desktops, laptops, notebooks to cell phones, blackberries and iphones to kindle, ipads and other ereaders all day.
Some of us spend the most part of each day on computer devices and half of that time on the Internet browsing or chatting on social websites.
Then there are the many stories of marriages and jobs becoming unraveled as a result of sexting, texting Internet sexual activities and other issues that suggest people are becoming unhinged and our ability to maintain self-control is at risk.

8 Benefits of Taking a Computer Free Vacation

This is an article I wrote in 2010. It provides you with 8 Reasons Not to Feel Guilty About Not Checking Your Email While on Vacation.
1) You detoxify your system from all the anxiety of the daily grind. A vacation from work we are told is necessary to help us maintain a high productivity level. Many of us sometimes carry our work with us on our vacations. We check the email everyday. In addition many of us spend the time on social websites and so instead of feeling relaxed when we get back we immediately loose all the feel good feeling we had on vacation. It's like it never happened. We are uptight from the first day back at work.
2) You get much needed exposure to sunlight, fresh air, outdoor exercises and our natural coded way of existence that the body critically needs if it is going to be able to handle the long hours of unnatural existence you expose it to at work coped up in closed window office buildings in front of a computer.

Computer Use induced stress

Computer use is not limited to laptops and desktops but also includes the use of most of our modern gadgets such as iphones, ipads, video games, cell phones and so on that are actually minicomputers.

Our continual exposure to the toxic environment created by operating these tools without adequate preventive measures exposes our human machine system to stresses not naturally coded to it and which it consequently finds difficult to handle on the continuous basis required by our highly wired modern lifestyle.

In the book – Computer Use Induced Stress, Adetutu Ijose in her usual forthright way explains how and why computer use is stressful to the body.

She seeks to help all computer users, their loved ones and doctors gain an understanding of these issues, the underlying reasons why we all feel so stressed out in the modern technology age.

She reveals the overexposure to toxins present in the computer use environment as we go from laptops/desktops to iphones, video games, ipads to cell phone especially when texting and tweeting.

She explains how these unique stresses can be easy misdiagnosed as other more commonly known stresses with dire consequences.

She provides practical solutions on how to problem and how to handle computer use so we minimize these stresses and its effects.

Who knew diet and exercise was important in responsible computer use.

This book is a must for anyone who wants to live successfully in the technological age.

It is important reading for all ages and for both users and medical professionals.

Parents please do not take this issue lightly get this book for you and your children. It is investment well worth it.

.Are you wondering why you are so tired from computer use or why you get so cranky or feel overwhelmed at work or are having communication problems and why no medication seems to be able to make things better?

Maybe the stress inherent in computer use is overwhelming your body’s system. Read this book to find all you need to know to help yourself and avoid a misdiagnosis.

8 Signs that Indicate Your Insomnia is Computer Use Induced

Insomnia that is Not Resolved by Medication but that Results in Continuous Change in Medication and or Dosage Could Be a Problem for Computer Users

Computer induced insomnia is not well understood and many times could be misdiagnosed as being entirely worry stress induced leading to the mistake of trying to resolve it with medication. This mistake could lead to further depletion of various biochemicals and nutrients resulting in psychotic or mental issue like symptoms. Please refer to my articles title The silent ignored global epidemic part I and especially part II to read more about computer use ailment symptoms mimicking other ailments.
People suffering from this type of insomnia are not really psychotic or badly depressed and administration of anti depressant could turn them into psychotic and badly depressed people with no resolution to their problems but an ever-increasing need to change their medications or dosages.

Book on Teenage and Adult Texting Addictions

When texting, certain physiological activities occur in the human body which result in the incessant desire for texting at the expense of actual conversation. Adetutu Ijose the computer use induced health conditions expert in her book explains what happens when texting and why.

Many are unaware that the act of texting is the same as being in front of a regular computer. The same dangers apply.

In addition, because the screen is so small, limiting the expanse of light contrary to our natural coded way of being encompassed by the sunlight our natural source of viewing and reading light.

This posses additional stress to the human body system it is not naturally coded to handle.

The incessant exposure to toxic artificial light and chemicals that texting involves as well as issues such as distracted driving, lack of sleep and its effect on the immune system are some of the issues that this state of addiction brings.

Many would like to be less addicted but find themselves unable to exercise the required self control. Many also progress to the dangerous arena of sexting.

Adetutu's book provides answers to this phenomenon that has taken the world by storm. Find out all you need to know and help yourself and all your love ones.

New book on the health effects of computer use on women

There is a new book out by Adetutu Ijose on the health effects of computer use on women. In this book she provides details on gender specific health effects an why they occur.

There are many health related effects of computer use that are common to both men an women. There are however some more pronounced in one sex than the other. Being a woman, Adetutu has been able to identify the women specific issues that every woman needs to know in order to take charge of their health in a computer use dependent world.

Because men and women generally have differences in biochemical needs the effect of computer use on these biochemical groups will have a great effect on how each gender's health is affected.

For example, the estrogen/progesterone balance in women is key to their sense of well being an anything that tips the balance one way or the other such as the estrogen mimicking chemical in computer monitor light can easily throw the delicate natural balance off resulting in many issues that can be easily misdiagnosed.

There are also certain nutrient requirement issues more pronounced in one sex than the other. For example iron is a mineral heavily use by the body in computer use, whose deficiency may be more pronounced in women

This book helps women to understand themselves better. It is also good information for anyone that has a woman they care about - wife, mother, daughter, sister and so on.

The 6".x 9"book is $12. It is 94 pages long and available from www.amazon.com and the author's website www.foodsthathealaily.com in paperback print.

It is also available in ebook format for kindle. Nook, ipad and other ebook formats should be available within the next two weeks.

Why Computer use is incompatible with uncontrolled gun access

We are in the technology age where computers rule our daily lives and actions. Because this exposes us to artificial light we are not naturally coded with, it results in the excessive use of biochemicals and other nutrients our hearts, brains and other body organs and processes use when we are in the presence of light without any replenishment.

This means we are in a situation of continually deficiency in the biochemicals that keep us calm and ensure we do not over produce the ones that keep us excited so we can take correct and prudent decisions.

This is a very stressful condition for the body to be in especially as we are usually in places without access to the sun most of the day because we are indoors.

Now lets take a look at the effect of having guns around. Is it stressful to the body’s system giving us a heightened awareness of danger? The guns make us feel in control and ready to meet any challenge. This state of heightened awareness is stressful to the body resulting in continual production of a lot of adrenalin and other biochemicals we need to carry out fast action.

Having guns around is also stressful because we must exercise control over ourselves not to be too fearful and not to answer every opposition with gunfire.

As we can see guns access means we need a lot of the biochemicals that keep us calm so we do not over react.

This is not compatible with modern living that heavily uses up those same biochemicals which means we are all one step away from being out of control and over fearful.

Statistics in the media since the awful incidence in Sandy Hook Elementary School in December 2012 Connecticut bear this out.

In countries where there is a lot of technology use but limited access to gun there is less gun violence, as people there do not have the luxury of expressing their overproduction of excitatory biochemicals we call excitatory neurotransmitter through guns.

Since computers are here to stay, if we do not want mass murder to become an incontrollable epidemic, we must enact sensible gun control laws and face the reality of the fact that our technology use has limitations and learn to live within them.

Mass shooting in Connecticut and the effect of computer use on mental health, emotional trauma and human safety.

What is happening to everyone today? Why are there so many mass killings? What can we do to stop this evil and horror that seems to have taken our nation by storm and which we are also seeing in other countries especially in Europe? What is making people especially young men so angry?

Many of us are truly horrified by the various shooting but the shooting at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut goes beyond anything anyone could have imagined.

Twenty children all gunned down. They were all virtually babies who were still enjoying the excitement of growing up dreaming of what they would be when they grew up.  What a tragedy.

Where do we point the finger of blame? Is it the mother of the shooter Adam Lanza or the divorce of his parents or is it the video games he so loved playing or the drugs if he was on medication or is it the culture of violence and death we have in our country whereby violence on television and in movies is accepted as entertainment that has desensitized people or is it the gun loving culture.

All these share in the blame. There is however a big elephant in the room – the effect of computer use on human mental health and ability to cope with emotional trauma.

As far as I know from the media reports on the various mass shootings that have been occurring all over the country, one thing stands out, all the shooters were computer users and a lot of their motives and mode of operation were uncovered by searching their computers for evidence.

To me as an expert on the topic of computer use induced health conditions, we are beginning to see the health effects of the decision that we have taken as a people on earth to engage in constant exposure to lifeless artificial light our beings are not coded with through computer use without putting the necessary preventive measures in place and without taking steps to reduce other negative aspects of our culture to prevent our human computer systems from being overwhelmed.

I will explain things in as simple a way as possible so we call understand the basic principles involved.

We are coded to be in constant presence of life containing light recharging our control messaging system of light fields we call neurotransmitters so we are in constant mental balance.

Consequently we feel relaxed outside in sunlight during the day and in the presence of the moon an stars during the night time and are stressed by computer light, fluorescent an all other artificial lifeless forms of light.

The natural lights are beamed to us from above via the air through the water of the moisture in the air.

When this system of control for any reason is affected our brains and the hearts that operate them will not function right.

If we do not provide a means for self correction, over time, our system could get overburdened with toxic light resulting in many health issues including what we call mental problems.

There are two classes of neurotransmitters – the excitatory ones responsible for action type activities such as motion these include dopamine, adrenalin, noradrenalin and so on.

The second group is called inhibitory neurotransmitters. They control the excitatory ones and prevent them from over firing so we do not just go on and on and on until we crash. That is why we can operate and move around as humans.

The balance of these neurotransmitters we have determine our behavior and indeed the way every part of our being functions. They act in groups.

With this little introduction to the way we are coded to be, it must be obvious that computer use and its exposure to artificial lifeless light at such close range must be toxic to our messaging system.

That without going into details is the reason why computer use can affect our mental health.

These issues cannot be resolved by medication for there is no drug that can produce sunlight and the intricately complex messaging system that powers us.

It is not only the system itself that becomes toxic, the receptors in our skin and openings in our bodies through which light gets inside us could become infected. The whole nerve network in us could in fact be infected resulting in all sorts of pain that could be misdiagnose for example as carpel tunnel or in some cases as fibromyalgia, depression, AHHD and many other more commonly known ailments and be medicated with dire consequences.

For me as a computer use induced health conditions expert, It is my belief that whatever else may have been going on in the various shooters, the depletions in neurotransmitters from computer use is the trigger for their cascading mental health till they lose all ability to recognize right from wrong or even feel any emotions.

They lapse into what I call the fantasy mode of being uninhibited because of the lack of inhibitory controllers.

This means their way of reasoning is controlled by neurotransmitters that control actions such as attack and aggression without it being directed at self protection as it would normally be.

The ability to discern right from wrong is an inhibitory system. If the light fields responsible for carrying out these functions are corrupted in their delivery or depleted one will lose the inability to exercise judgment, which is a system of control.

What actions are carried out will depend on what the individual has been listening to and watching which is what is stored in the database of the heart.

If this happens to be violent movies or video games or a violent experience or participating in bullying and so on that is what the individual will do for they are now on auto pilot.

Consequently they can scheme and plan but it is an auto pilot plan not based on reasoning but auto reaction based on prior activity. They will automatically process things like a game of survival in the jungle as adrenalin and all other excitatory neurotransmitters in the body that are normally inhibited by reason to ensure their action is only directed at real danger is off

Excitatory neurotransmitters such as dopamine, adrenalin and noradrenalin are overly produced during computer use, which is why we feel excited and empowered and happy and fell falsely in control when on the computer.

It is adrenalin/dopamine rush much like that of a person on psychedelic drugs and our judgment becomes impaired.

In fact all computer users are impaired to varying degrees. This is why this issue must be taken seriously. In computer use ignorance is not bliss it is suicide.

It is no ordinary mental problem. It is one the medical profession that is medication based is not geared to understand, diagnose or treat.

In fact the medical profession in our country is yet to accept the fact that computer use can cause mental distress. Probably because it does not know what to do with the problem as it does not also lend itself to the normally accepted research methodology but to the study of the code of nature and human machine user manual we call the Bible or Scriptures for answers acknowledging our maker and programmer in ways done in bygone days but no longer done in modern times. It would also expose the fallacy of many things we have chosen to accept today as facts though we know they are not so

Computer use induced health conditions do not have to be insurmountable issues. There are preventive measures we should have put in place before going into computer use. We only considered the monetary aspect and are now paying the price in ways many are unaware of or unwilling to admit.

It is also one of the reasons our healthcare cost is going up due to routine misdiagnosis of illnesses arising from computer use as due to other factors.

Mental health issues is only one of the various conditions that can arise from computer use there are myriads of others including cancer, kidney and liver, heart and other organ malfunctions, eye and lung problems including asthma, allergies and so on

It is a problem of immense magnitude because computer use is here to stay, for in today’s world our lives revolve around computer use which goes beyond desktops and laptops to cell phones, ipads, iphoves, TV and so on, indeed virtually every means of communicating, entertainment, record keeping, manufacturing and so on.

Gun control is one of the issues that must be addressed as well as mental health generally but unless the white elephant called computer use induced health conditions is accepted as reality we will all be ticking time bombs over time.

Some talk about arming the teacher. What if the teacher too becomes so depleted from the computer dependent nature of his or her job and goes into the fantasy mode shooting all the students, what will be our next line of defense?

Another thing is that some people actually believe that computer use helps people to cope, mistaking the over concentration that occurs during computer use and which in fact a negative, as positive because it keeps the user engaged.

That over concentration is in fact a danger as it is evidence of a loss of control in the level of concentration due to neurotransmitter depletions.

I hope I have helped getting us to begin to appreciate the immensity of what we are up against and why we all have to take this opportunity to begin to address this issue seriously before it is too late.

The health consequences of computer use may be shortening the lifespan of today's youth and their hard working parents

A few days ago I attended a health seminar where one of the speakers informed us that the life span of younger people is shorter than that of older people due to environmental issues and the effect of technology specifically computer use. The speaker said that a lot of cases this speaker was seeing of health issues presented by patients were not what was seen years ago.

That is why I am writing this blog today. Here is the problem - we have been programmed over time to become careless with our health and that making responsible lifestyle choices was become unimportant as we can just pop in a pill and all will be well. We are all learning that that is not necessarily the case and that modern medicine may in some case not be as effective as grandma’s old herbal and healthy food and lifestyle choices disease prevention medicine. That is because grandma’s methods are based on the natural ways our bodies were created to operate

Many people are disappointed because they can no longer live carelessly and expect to pop a pill and be well when the consequences of their action kick in.

Look at the bright side the old saying” prevention is better than cure” may actually be true and cheaper, a good reason to be happy at the fact that we can actually reduce our health care bills in these tough times by being proactive. Let us try and understand what is going on by putting ourselves in the academic mode and trying to understand the seriousness of our dilemma.

Why do we have to be proactive? Why can the body not fix itself? The answer is very simple. I will put it this way; the human body is like an extraordinary computer system that has many computer systems in it. Think of the human machine (body) as a gigantic company that has about 10 million departments and that employs about 100 trillion people each with their own individualized computer system operating 100 million software programs each. Imagine that this company is connected to 10 billion other companies to form one huge global corporate system and this system is connected to several billion other systems (the whole universe as one interconnected company) with the same kind of complexity. Also imagine that some of the individual worker’s systems operate across company lines, some computers belong to more that one company, some of the software used for business decisions are across company line, some along department wide across the whole system. In addition while some connectivity is limited to 1 company some are limited to several group of companies. You can imagine the complexity of the kind of script or code that would have to be written to handle this system and what it would take to run it. It is humanly impossible to comprehend.

This is how the human system in which we operate and live works. I am now going to apply this corporate structure analogy to explain the complexity of the human body.

In fact each cell in our body is like an ERP system (e.g. Oracle, Peoplesoft etc.) with 100 million software programs. Each system (human body cell) is connected to other ERP systems with their own 100 million software programs. The body is like having a Gigantic Computer system that has trillions of ERP systems (it is estimated that our bodies contain about 5 trillion cells) in it with each cell system having 100 million software programs running in it. Some software run along the whole structure, some within some structures within the group and some only in each system. Some of the systems are visible to human eyes some are not and can only be guessed at by reading the electrical currents running through the whole system while some are invisible and undetectable and no human equipment can read. Some are neither visible nor can be guessed at. Some of these currents seem to be electromagnetic fields unknown to man but from the body’s activities we know there must be something electrical operating.

Fortunately for us, we do not have to figure these systems out, as we cannot. We have enough problems figuring out one ERP system. Anyone involved with for example Oracle knows that no one not even the manufacturer knows everything about the system and you have some issues that the company cannot effectively fix when you call up for support and you have to rely on the user group to find out if anyone else has been through that particular incident and what they did and where there are no precedents in some cases you just continue using the system with the problem. That is because it is not humanly possible to guess at all possible things that may occur in a system when it comes into actual production under all possible scenarios during the manufacturing stage because life evolves, businesses run into unforeseen circumstances etc. that bring about forced changes.

Now with the human body it is not a stand alone system, every human is connected. There is connection within the family there is connection with peers, neighbors, colleagues etc. What you do affects others. The whole human system is also connected to everything here on earth, the animals, plants etc. Also to the environment, the air, the ground. The earthly system is also connected to the celestial i.e. sun, moon stars etc. So it is impossible to humanly fix our body system by ourselves

Fortunately for us as humans we do not have to worry, our creator has made everything to self repair all we have to do is give any part of the system that hurts what it need to self repair and we watch it do so. If we do not, it becomes destroyed or limps along.

That is what the doctor does. Doctors are like step I support systems. They help us identify what is needed for the self repair e.g. medication, surgery, replacement therapies, IVF etc. When for example you have a kidney transplant, we wait for it to begin to bond with the particular system into which it is put. The hard ware and software have to read each other and determine that it is right for the system and begin a slow upgrade to fit in the new system. It goes through the trial period and then full roll out. The roll out is in stages. If the trial period fails you find immediate rejection. If not you have it accepted and medication given for some time until the production roll out is fully operational.

That is why sometimes doctors may make a misdiagnosis because they are not the creator and you can only go as far as yourself and others have guessed things. That is why sometimes the doctors tells you to pray for a miracle and sometimes only miracles can even diagnose what is wrong in some cases. In others, both diagnosis and identifying the repair kit and even getting the right kind and version of repair fix or patch needs a miracle. Sometimes everything is identified but loading needs a miracle.

With the above analysis, I hope I have been able to get you to get off the couch of no action and to begin to take the burden from off your doctor and take responsibility for your health. We will all need to do this if we want to maintain the increase in life span that we have achieved so far.

The advent of the computer and its indispensable nature to our way of life means we are now violating some of the basic principles that keep us alive and in good health. Afew of these violations are:

  • We look directly at a source of light the computer monitor contrary to our natural way of not looking directly at the sun our natural source of light
  • Computers when operating reduce the negative ionization of the air around us contrary to the high negative ionization level natural for our existence and maintenance of good health
  • We work in offices that have closed windows that do not allow fresh air in. Consequently the air around is depleted of good fresh Oxygen and has more than enough abundance of carbon which when we breathe in is not very good for our health
  • The operation of computers dries up the air around us
  • The light from the computer screen because it is not recognized as light by our brain does not activate the blink system that enables our eyes remain moisturized. In addition, the stress control that the split second blink time provides our brain is missing. There is research that shows we blink 66% less when on the computer.
  • When on the computer we have limited body part movement contrary to our natural way of moving all parts of our bodies when carrying out any function.
All the above and the other violations that occur from the computer use environment result in the overburdening of the body’s stress management system. If we do not take responsibility for our health by taking some lifestyle, exercise, dietary etc. measures to enable the body enhance its stress management system, over time, the continuous and cumulative depletion in neurotransmitters and minerals and other nutrients will take its toll resulting in health problems that are hard to resolve and sometimes resulting in a career loss if not loss of life.

It is for this reason I continue to warn about the health issues involved in computer use.

Parents it is time to take your children for that eye exam. Some of their behavioral problems may have to do with vision issues. Some of those behavioral problem may also be due to depletions of neurotransmitters and nutrients as a result of computer use. Monitor their computer use, make them take breaks, follow ergonomic rules and most importantly, get a hold of my book – Lessons I Learned the Hard Way for more information on this topic and to learn how to identify, minimize, manage and treat computer related health conditions in consultation with your doctor. Also learn some easy things you can do. Visit my websites http://www.computeragehealthrisk.com and http://www.foodsthathealdaily.com. The computer is only a tool and we should not allow it to ruin or control our well being.

Book Identifies how to Identify, Manage, Minimize and Treat Computer Related Health Conditions

In her  book - Lessons I Learned the Hard Way available on her website http:///www.foodsthathealdaily.com , Adetutu Ijose shares her insight into the health issues faced by computer users everywhere having been a casualty of serious life threatening complications of computer usage herself. For decades many people have been in denial about the effect of computer use on human health fearing the effect of such knowledge on the use of the computer which could affect its widespread use and affect technological advancement. Some feared the cost to the computer industry if sufferers litigate.

Consequently, millions of people are suffering silently not understanding why and in many cases not even identifying the source of their problem as their computer usage methodology resulting in huge healthcare costs as they undergo treatments that do not work or even in some cases worsen the problems or create new ones.

The medical profession is not very knowledgeable about this area and cannot really be blamed as no one is taught about computer related health conditions in school and our litigious society forces doctors to play it safe by keeping strictly to the book.

In addition, people seem to believe that knowing about how the computer affects their health may force them to give up their jobs resulting in economic loss and so our society is in denial.

This is the computer age. The computer is here to stay and indeed has become indispensable to our way of existence hence the fear of giving it up as a result of knowing its health effects is really shortsighted. It is the ignorance of not knowing its effects and how to deal with them that will force many people to give up computer usage as their lives become unbearable.
